'Thrive in the City’ is a programme of events celebrating Mental Health in the Cityon 27 November 2017 and is being curated in collaboration with local London Bridge charity The Dragon Café, Minds@Work, Thrive London, Business Healthy, andMIND and the City Mental Health Alliance. Coinciding with the City Mental Health Alliance annual event at City Hall and the keynote speech by Sadiq Khan, Mayor of London, Thrive in the City is looking to provide a range of ‘experiences’ for workers and residents in the City – free of charge – that supports their mental wellbeing.
As part of Thrive in the City, we'll be running a range of interactive and informative sessions on mental health, happiness and anything else that's on your mind that is impacting on your wellbeing in the workplace. The sessions are currently being finalised but we will have inspirational speakers, free Mental Health First Aid Training, yoga and a seminar talking about practical ways in which you can implement workplace wellbeing initiatives.
There will be activities early in the morning, at lunch time and towards the end of the day so professionals in London Bridge and Bankside can easily fit this around their working schedule. Everyone is welcome for all sessions or just the ones you find relevant.
Refreshments will be provided throughout the day.
